"As part of the prestigious Aligarh Muslim University campus funded by Mr. Frank Islam, the Institute is designed around a series of progressive courtyards. These are the Fore Court leading to the Palm Court which further connects to the Amphitheatre Court. The beautifully landscaped courts are flanked by the three distinct building blocks, the Academic, the Faculty and the Library block each connected via colonnades and bridges.

The institute has been conceptualised as a Modern interpre- tation of Islamic Architecture with the geometry of traditional arches and jaalis all contributing to the regional and cultural character."
